Whompy!

Whompy came home!! It was great to get a phone call from David (Whompy) last week saying he could come home over the Labor day weekend. He was here Friday through Monday, and we had lots of fun..we cooked out, went to see the flick "Invincible", which I highly recommend. It had a good story based on real life, lots of football action and characters you actually liked!

What was really nice was that we had a chance to sit down and talk about camp memories. What a blessing to have people like the campers and staff of WCYC to remember and think about! I know that for many people, the two weeks spent at WCYC each summer are among the high points of the year. Any comments?

Bill Kinzer News

Bill Kinzer News

Why did I set up a blog? I'm not totally sure...it's not because I think that what I have to share is earthshakingly important, and the world can't exist without my thoughts! I believe it's mostly an opportunity for me to share thoughts and reflections about various topics of interest to me and then have you respond as you feel the need.

A big thanks to David Hartman from Oklahoma City, who did most of the tech work to help me set this up. David was one of five staff members from WCYC who had dinner with us Saturday and then spent the night before continuing their journey home.

As time allows I will be posting more entries. Feel free to reply or bring up new topics. Bill K.

Tired but happy

Just returned from WCYC yesterday. I enjoyed my 4 days...next year...2 WEEKS!
